Family Run / 1000 families (1.5KM, registration will be conducted by family, with at least one parent and one child, such as ‘1+1’, ‘1+2’, ‘2+1’ or ‘2+2’)

Runners of marathon, half marathon and happy run start at 9 a.m.

8. Race Course
Race Course goes through The Big State Gate, Myanmar CBD, Jiegao State Gate, Jiegao Bridge, Shweli Square, Ruili downtown.
Finish (marathon and half marathon): Nongmohu Lake Park
Finish (happy run and family run): Jiegao Culture Square
9. Rules of Competition
a. The races will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of CAA and the Rules and Regulations of Ruili China and Muse Myanmar Cross-Border Marathon 2019
b. Checkpoint procedures: as this is a cross-border marathon, runners of marathon, half marathon and happy run must take China-Myanmar Border Area Exit and Entry Permit or People’s Republic of China Exit and Entry Permit to assembling area for checkpoint procedures. Runners can enter waiting area after permit information is confirmed.
c. Roll-call: roll-call time of marathon, half marathon and happy run is 7:30-8:45 a.m.; roll-call time of family run is 7:30-9:00 a.m. Participants shall register in the specific areas 60 minutes prior to the race start with properly-worn race bibs on chest.
d. Starting Order: group identification boards are set up at the entrance of assembling area, runners must go to the correct start area. Runners will start in the sequence of marathon, half marathon, happy run (single), happy run (group) and family run.
e. Start
Marathon, half marathon and happy run start at 9:00 a.m., family run starts at 9:15 a.m.
f. Timing Method
Chip timing service will be provided to all runners. Chips will be activated at the point the participants cross the start line. Timing carpets are placed at the start line, every 5KM point, turning points and the finish line. Participants shall run through every timing carpet during the race. Those who finish within the cutoff time but without complete record from all timing points will not be qualified for final ranking.
Timing chips are released with race bibs. No deposit is required.
g. Cut-off Time
In order to provide an orderly organized race, Cut-off Time is set for each section of the course. Timing carpets at each Cut-Off Point stop working at the Cut-off Time in sequence, and the section of the course will be re-opened to the public traffic. Those who are unable to complete the respective distance by the Cut-off Time shall stop racing and leave the course, in case of any dangers. Those who drop out of the race can take event vehicle or take public transportation to the Finish. Chart of Cut-off Time can be seen as below:

h. Baggage Deposit and Collection
1.Runenrs shall deposit personal belongings by the order of bib number at designated area. (only accepts deposit bag provided by organizer) After finishing the race, runners shall go to designated area for collection. Please do not put valuables in your deposit bags (such as mobile phone, IDs, cash, keys, credit cards, iPads, etc.). Participants are solely responsible for the damage or loss of personal valuables/belongings.
2. Service of baggage deposit on race day will be closed at 8:40. Please plan your time accordingly. Baggage collection will be available till 16:00 (Half marathon till 13:00) on race day at designated areas. Those who are unable to collect the baggage by above-mentioned time please claim within one week after the race day at the organizing committee. After this one-week, all unclaimed baggage will be disposed by organizing committee.
3.No deposit services will be provided to happy run and family run runners, please keep your belongings yourself.
i. Water, Energy Drink and Refreshments Stations
1.Energy Drinks, Water/Sponge Station will be placed from the Start and every 5KM along the course. Water/Sponge Station will be allocated in every 5KM starting at 7KM.
2. Refreshment Stations will be allocated at the point of 15KM, 25KM, 30KM, 35KM and finish line.

Note: no refreshment stations will be provided to happy run and family run because of their short distance.
j. Medical Aid
1.Medical aid stations will be set at start area, along the course (every 5KM along the course), every refreshment station and finish area.
2.AED first aid service will be provided along the race course, ambulance will follow runners along the course.
3. Medical aid volunteers will serve at medical aid stations, assisting in medical aid and maintaining race order. Participants can ask help from these volunteers when needed.
k. Temporary toilets are settled at start area, en-route (each 5KM along the race course), every refreshment station and finish area.
l. Spray stations are settled by organizing committee along the race course.
m. Doping Control will be conducted according to related policies and regulations.

10. REGISTRATION
a. Age Requirements
For Marathon, participants shall be at least 20 years old (born before December 31st, 1999).
For Half Marathon, participants shall be at least 16 years old (born before December 31st, 2003).
For Happy Run (Single), participants shall be at least 16 years old (born before December 31st, 2003).
For Happy Run (Group), participants shall be at least 16 years old (born before December 31st, 2003).
For Family Run, parent shall be at least 18 years old (born before December 31st, 2001), children shall be no elder than 16 years old (born before December 31st, 2003).
For participants who aged under 18 or over 65 years old, his/her guardian, custodian, or legal representative shall fully understand and consent with the Runner Declaration by signing the agreement.
b. Registration and Payment
1. Events and race capacity
(1) Marathon (42.195KM): 1000 entries, registration will close upon full enrollment;
(2) Half Marathon (21.0975KM): 2000 entries, registration will close upon full enrollment;
(3) Single Happy Run (5KM): 3000 entries, registration will close upon full enrollment;
(4) Group Happy Run (5KM): 100 institutions within Dehong autonomous prefecture, registration will close upon full enrollment;
(5) Family Run (1.5KM): 1000 families, registration will close upon full enrollment.
2. Registration time and fee:
(1) Registration period: 12:00, October 8, 2019 -- 18:00, November 30, 2019
(2) Registration fee:
Marathon: 200 RMB/person
Half Marathon: 150 RMB/person
Single Happy Run: 60 RMB/person
Group Happy Run: 600 RMB deposit/team, deposit will be refunded in two weeks after the game; deposit will not be refunded to teams who fail to participate.
Family Run: 150 RMB/ family.
*Note: Registration fee will not be refunded for personal reason that leads to a runner’s participation failure after the registration is confirmed; participation is only for who registers, no transfer is allowed.

Note: 1. Discount is for each group separately, it is not affected by number of entries of other groups. No discounts will be given to groups that fail to meet entry requirement. 2. Group registration is only available for marathon, half marathon and single happy run. The online registration system will change the registration fee automatically after identifying the number of runners in your registration form uploaded. |
3. Requirements for permits.
As this is a cross-border marathon, runners of marathon, half marathon and happy run must take the following certificate/permit for roll-call, those with no certificate are not allowed to participate:
(1) Civilians outside Dehong autonomous prefecture (include Lianghe county):
take People’s Republic of China Exit and Entry Permit. December 31, 2019 must in period of validity of the permit.
(2) Civilians of Dehong autonomous prefecture:
take People’s Republic of China Exit and Entry Permit or China-Myanmar Border Area Exit and Entry Permit. December 31, 2019 must in period of validity of the permit.
① Those with no permit or with expired permit should go to border police station or CAPF Border Defense Station to apply for your permit.
② Those with valid permit, should take the permit to the site when collecting materials on the race day.
③ Those have no time to apply for permit, follow the procedures of civilians outside Dehong autonomous prefecture.
(3) Runners from Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan:
fill in personal information when register. His/her participation will be approved after information is confirmed. For runners from Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan, travelling permit(card) is needed.
(4) Burmese athletes:
fill in personal information when register. His/her participation will be approved after information is confirmed. On the race day, valid certificate/permit is needed for call-in, those with no certificate/permit will not be allowed for participation.
(5) Runners from third countries (countries besides China and Myanmar):
fill in personal information when register. His/her participation will be approved after information is confirmed. On the race day, valid certificate/permit is needed for call-in, those with no certificate/permit will not be allowed for participation.
*Note: all runners should take valid certificate/permit to the entrance and submit it there, it can be reclaimed after the game at final line.
4. Physical Condition Requirements
Marathon is an athletic sport of high load and great intensity over long distances. It is also a high risk athletic sport which has high physical demands on participants. Those who wish to participant in Marathon race shall be in healthy condition, have experience in running and have completed training with distance over half-marathon. Anyone who has any of the following health issues is not recommended to participate:
(1) Congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease;
(2) Hypertension and cerebrovascular disease;
(3) Myocarditis and other heart diseases;
(4) Coronary artery disease and server irregular heartbeat;
(5) Diabetes;
(6) Having cold symptoms two weeks prior to the race;
(7) Other diseases that is not suitable for sports;
(8) Pregnancy.

*Groups of happy run will be ranked by the total time of each team, the less time a team spends, the better ranking it can get.
(7) Runners who finish the race before cut-off time will be awarded a medal; runners of marathon and half marathon can also get electronic finishing certificate.
(8) The above awards (except the record0-breaking awards) are only awarded as the highest award, and no repeated bonuses will be paid. 20% personal income tax will be levied when the bonuses are paid.
(9) Bonus will be paid according to the ranking corresponding to runners finishing results. No bonus will be paid on site. The results of the winning athletes will be unveiled after 10 days of publication on the official website of the competition and confirmation of no violation of the competition regulations. If problems are found in the doping test, the ranking shall be cancelled and the following rankings shall not go up.
(10) Race T-shirt, race bag, bib number, timing chip and Official Program will be provided for runners of marathon, half marathon and group happy run.
(11) All finishers check results and download finisher certificate on official website 24 hours after the race. Split time, gun time, net time will be listed on the certificate. Result will not be qualified for final ranking if any split time is missed.
12. PUNISHMENTS
Video recording are monitoring on the entire race course. Runners will be punished as disqualification from the race immediately, barred for race for 1-2 years, barred for life and Chinese Athletic Association may put additional punishments if runners committed any of the followings:
(1) Misrepresentation on age when registration;
(2) Racing with two or more than two timing chips (including one participant carrying timing chip of the other gender);
(3) Racing in relay;
(4) Not following the start order and start at non-designated area;
(5) Against the rules when starting;
(6) Continuing racing after cut-off time or re-enter the course after dropping out of the race;
(7) Not racing along the course. Shortcut or taking public transportation;
(8) Crossing the finish line repeatedly or not completing the whole distance but crossing the finish line to get finisher medal;
(9) Forging bib number or using bib number of other races with timing chip of this race to finish;
(10) Not following with staff order. Rioters who disturbing the race order;
(11) Uncivil behavior;
(12) Other behaviors against the rules.
Consequences arising during the race from enrolling by misrepresentation or transferring entry to another person, both parties will be banned from Ruili China and Muse MyanmarCross-Border Marathon race for life.
13. Insurance
Insurance will be provided to all runners. Full responsibilities will be taken by runners if they fail to buy the insurance because of the incorrect information.
